Help with acne & breakouts?

I have acne who doesnt. its not too serious but It bother me. So I used to use pro-active but my gma stopped ordering it for me. too much money. So now im using this toner called witch hazel. & a facial cream. But its not working that well. been using it for about a week & half now and my face clears up fast when im using the right thing. but this doesnt seem to be working any help? My face is oily but dry at times and I have like red blemishes on my cheeks all the time. How do I get rid of that? I also use make up to. Mac make up. jus some foudation.
