Who is Rex Balsom's father on One Life to Live?

Roxy made such a big deal about how Rex's father being a horrible human being and crazy and would not tell Rex his name because he is so bad. So I think that it would be someone like Spencer Truman, which would make sense because he was supposedly killed but being in a coma would be a good way to say he was badly hurt but didn't quite die. Or even Carlos Hesser that would make OLTL very interesting.
