Is it unfair that McCain supporters are looked upon as racist? Hillary didn't face this issue. Is it Palin?

Look, just because you support McCain, does not make you a racist. For God sakes, the man was a POW, and I would be surprise if Vets and Military families doesn't support him in overwhelming numbers. So, is Sarah Palin the main reason why some people would label a support for John McCain as racist. Is it the fault of people that show up at her campaign that yell "Hang him" or "White house is for white people". If so, well you can't ociate the views of McCain/Palin with the company and supporters they attract. RIght? What say you?
