Are kids on this site functionally illiterate or do they write badly on purpose? This is scary!!?

I wonder the same thing every time I read a post that is obviously from a kid.. I am afraid to really know..on the + side of that, at least we can weed out which post is from a kid and which is from an adult or MATURE teen (not like we can't from the ?s (do I look pretty?, does he like me? who likes miley cyrus ? DUH)..
