First off think of what kind of music your interested in. Rock n' roll, Blues, Jazz. All different categories of music have different songs for you too choose from. Theirs a lot of great songs out there. It depend what your interested in. In my opinion I think it would be easier to look in the playing style of rock n' roll. Why you ask? Their are lots of cool covers to choose from. Try some bands like Guns n' roses(Sweet Child O' Mine), The Smashing Pumpkins(Cherub Rock), Metallica(Master of Puppets), KISS(Rock n' roll all night), Marcy Playground( and Candy), Weezer(Buddy Holly), etc. Again it's all about what you are interested in.
